Executive Management

Robert D. Bondurant serves as the Partnership’s President and Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Board of Directors of our general partner. Mr. Bondurant joined Martin Resource Management Corporation in 1983 as Controller and subsequently as Chief Financial Officer from 1990 through 2020 and continues as a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Bondurant served in the audit department at Peat Marwick, Mitchell and Co from 1980 to 1983. Mr. Bondurant holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Texas.

Sharon Taylor serves as the Partnership’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and holds the same roles at Martin Resource Management Corporation. Ms. Taylor most recently served as Director of Finance and Head of Investor Relations for the Partnership. Ms. Taylor was a member of the management group at Prism Gas Systems, Inc. serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, where she continued serving as Controller after Martin’s acquisition of Prism in November 2005. Prior to Prism, Ms. Taylor served as Director of Finance and Investor Relations for Dynamex Inc., a North American logistics company. She also held finance and accounting positions with Union Pacific Resources and UP Fuels. Ms. Taylor holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Harding University.

Randy Tauscher serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of our general partner. Mr. Tauscher has served in this capacity since May 2011. From November 2007 through July 2011, Mr. Tauscher served as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Martin, Mr. Tauscher was employed by Koch Industries for over 18 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of the Koch Carbon Division. Mr. Tauscher earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Kansas State University.

Chris Booth serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of our general partner. Mr. Booth has served as an officer of our general partner since February 2006. Mr. Booth joined Martin Resource Management in October 2005. Prior to joining Martin Resource Management, Mr. Booth was an attorney with the law firm of Mehaffy Weber located in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Booth holds a doctor of jurisprudence degree and a masters of business administration degree with a concentration in finance from University of Houston. Additionally, Mr. Booth holds a bachelor of science degree in business management from Letourneau University. Mr. Booth is an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Texas.

Scot A. Shoup serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Martin Resource Management Corporation. Mr. Shoup joined Martin in May 2011. Prior to joining Martin, Mr. Shoup was employed by Exline, Inc. as Executive Vice President from 2005 to 2011 and was employed by Koch Industries in various capacities for 18 years. Mr. Shoup holds a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas.

Mr. King serves as Senior Vice President – Shore Bases. Mr. King has served in various roles since its acquisition of Tesoro Marine Services in 2003. Mr. King served in various capacities with Tesoro affiliates for over 20 years. Mr. King has been in the energy industry for over 30 years.

Mike Lawrence serves as Senior Vice President Sulfur Services and oversees Martin's commercial sulfur and sulfur-based fertilizer operations. He joined Martin Midstream in July 2008. Prior to joining Martin, he spent nearly 13 years at Koch Industries, Inc. in the sulfuric acid group and in various other capacities focusing on the trading and transportation of bulk chemicals and materials. Mr. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Towns serves as Vice President - Martin Lubricants. Mr. Towns has served in this capacity since November 2012. Mr. Towns has 15 years in the Lubricants business with Mobil and Chevron. Prior to joining MRMC, Mr. Towns was the General Manager of Koch Sulfur Product Company. He holds a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and a M.B.A. from University of Houston.

Rick Freed serves as Vice President of Marine. Rick joined Martin Midstream in September 2007 in the role of Vessel Operations Manager in Mobile, Alabama. Rick transferred to Houston in January 2012 to assume the position of General Manager of Marine Operations. Prior to Martin, Rick served for 23 years in the United States Coast Guard. Rick received his commission from the Coast Guard’s Officer Candidate School. His experiences include ship board operations and engineering, search and rescue, marine investigations, inspections and port operations.

John Scott serves as Vice President, Land Transportation, and oversees all aspects of Martin's land transportation division. He joined Martin Transport, Inc. in 2002 and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, including Dispatch Supervisor, Dispatch Operations Manager, Vice President of Operations, and most recently Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Mr. Scott is an active participant in industry organizations, including the Texas Trucking Association and the Florida Trucking Association.

Melanie Mathews serves as Vice President of Human Resources for the Partnership and Martin Resource Management Corporation. Ms. Mathews has held this role since 2006. Prior to joining Martin, she was the Director of Human Resources for Good Shepherd Health System. Ms. Mathews holds a bachelor of science degree in political science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Karen L. Yost serves as Vice President of Taxation of our general partner. Ms. Yost joined Martin Resource Management Corporation in 1985 as Tax Manager and subsequently was appointed as Vice President of Taxation in 2007. Ms. Yost served in the audit department of Peat Marwick, Mitchell and Co. from 1978 to 1979, and was a Senior Tax Manager at Jamieson, Byrd & Thomas, CPAs for seven years prior to joining Martin Resource Management Corporation. She holds a bachelor of business Administration degree in accounting from Louisiana Tech University and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the states of Texas and Louisiana.
